Ninjala has been getting a lot of support from Nintendo and the Switch community as well. Recently, GungHo had their Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration with SEGA so naturally, fans are looking forward to more. In a recent interview with Gamereactor, GungHo CEO Kazuki Morishita said the following:

“For Ninjala, we got a lot of support from Nintendo, and I believe that our relationship is really good with them. In regards to a Nintendo-based collab, we have experience in the past with Puzzle & Dragons and Mario where we had Mario come into the Puzzle & Dragons world. So there is a possibility that we could talk with Nintendo and have this collaboration, but it’s going to be more dependent on the Nintendo side.”

It would be interesting to see Mario and Zelda collaborations from Nintendo in Ninjala someday and seems very likely for Ninjala as a Switch exclusive. In the meantime, stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news!
