AMD has announced the Ryzen 5000 series of desktop CPUs and they’re looking seriously impressive! The new generation offers higher single-core performance and IPC uplifts (19%) compared to Zen 2 based 3000 series CPUs. Here’s the lineup of CPUs coming on November 5th:

    • 3.7 GHz base clock/4.6 boost clock
    • 35 MB cache
    • 65W TDP
  • Ryzen 7 5800X – $449.99
    • 8 cores/16 threads
    • 3.8 GHz base clock/4.7 GHz boost clock
    • 36 MB cache
    • 105W TDP
  • Ryzen 9 5900X – $549.99
    • 12 cores/24 threads
    • 3.7 GHz base clock/4.8 GHz boost clock
    • 70 MB cache
    • 105W TDP
  • Ryzen 9 5950X – $799.99
    • 16 cores/32 threads
    • Up to 4.9 GHz boost clock
    • 72 MB cache
    • 105W TDP
