Super Mario 3D World comes to Nintendo Switch, featuring expanded content

Everyone’s favorite pudgy plumber is celebrating his 35th anniversary this year, and today’s Super Mario Bros. focused Nintendo Direct gave us a plethora of new games and merchandise to look forward to. Among the batch was the Wii U’s original 3D Mario game, Super Mario 3D World, receiving a full and expanded port to the Nintendo Switch.

The first 3D Mario game to feature real-time multiplayer, Super Mario 3D World lets you play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Rosalina on an adventure to stop Bowser from taking over the Sprixie kingdom with brand new power-ups across eight worlds. In addition, there’s a brand new additional story titled “Bowser’s Fury”, though the name and darker atmosphere is all we know about it for now.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launches on Nintendo Switch on February 21st, 2021. In the meantime, stay tuned
