Some details about Super Mario Galaxy weren’t clarified during the Super Mario 35th Anniversary Direct but luckily we have new info! First, motion controls are optional in Super Mario Galaxy for Super Mario 3D All-Stars. Players who want to use motion controls may use the Joy-Cons to simulate a more accurate version of the Wii’s Remote and Nunchuck controls. For example, the Joy-Cons are used for pointer functionality that was present with the Wii version. Standard Pro-Controller play is supported. In addition, Co-Star mode is back with Joy-Con play. This allows a second player to shoot off star bits while the first player plays as Mario.
Lastly, Super Mario 3D All-Stars releases on September 18th for Switch. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news!
