Mihoyo President Forrest Liu has shared more details about Genshin Impact! Genshin Impact started development back in 2017 with the goal of incorporating an open-world with a solo story. Initially, the team underestimated creating an open-world game from scratch. Future updates will include new characters, stories, co-op features and much more. Genshin Impact is free-to-play with a gacha system for acquiring new characters. The game features multiplayer in the form of online co-op and as previously stated, updates will add more features.
Genshin Impact releases on September 28th for iOS, Android and PC. In addition, PS4 and Switch versions will come sometime after the initial release. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news!
