    Animal Crossing: New Horizons surpasses 5.5 million copies sold in Japan

    Animal Crossing: New Horizons continues to be a sales juggernaut around the world and its no different in Japan. The game has surpassed 5.5 million copies sold in Japan alone (5,551,198) according to Famitsu sales. It’s currently the highest selling game in Japan this year as well. More Japanese sales numbers for games from August 3rd to 16th are available here courtesy of Gematsu.
