At today’s Dragon Ball FighterZ Show, they announced a new online tournament. The new tournament will be called Dragon Ball FighterZ National Championship. This tournament is taking over the cancelled World Tour that was supposed to be going on. Sadly it was cancelled due to Covid-19. The National Championship will feature 4 countries with only 8 players invited. The countries being included are France, Spain, US-East Coast, US-West Coast and Japan. These countries were picked due to their online connection being close enough to each other. Dragon Ball FighterZ’s producer Tomoko Hiroki has said that they are looking into improving the online but implementing Rollback Netcode is hard right now.
