In Nintendo’s financial report, it was revealed that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has sold 22.40 Million copies, therefore becoming the 2nd best selling Switch title. This is absolutely insane for a game that just came out on the 20th of March this year, a mere 4.5 months ago.
To put this into perspective, over one third of Switch owners own a copy of Animal Crossing, which puts its retention rate incredibly high.
