The latest rumor comes from Doctre81, who accurately detailed previous Switch related game leaks such as The Witcher 3 and Metro: Redux to name a few. According to a Nvidia Senior Graphics Engineer’s linkedin page, Nvidia is hiring staff for Tegra solutions in next-gen consoles and A.I. One of the tasks associated with these hirings are the implementation of DLSS 2.0 and Tegra optimization. In short, DLSS 2.0 allows for A.I learning/rendering to increase frame rate and output resolutions. Currently, DLSS 2.0 is only found on Nvidia’s RTX graphics cards (i.e RTX 2060).

This is important to note as Switch’s hardware is developed by Nintendo and Nvidia. PS5 and Xbox Series X are developed in partnership with AMD, one of Nvidia’s competitors. Nvidia entered a long term partnership with Nintendo before the Switch released so this could be the beginning of new information leading into a Switch successor. However, this is considered a rumor and not confirmed information. The current Switch will be supported as Nintendo’s main platform for more years to come.
