Ubisoft will be holding their second Ubisoft Forward in September. For the uninitiated, this is their Nintendo Direct-esque show where they reveal and discuss their upcoming games.
This was announced during the company’s first-quarter earnings call by chief financial officer Frédérick Duguet. Here’s a quote from Frédérick on the success of their first Ubisoft Forward.
“Ubisoft Forward was a major milestone and the response from our fans was very promising. We achieved record-high peak concurrent viewership during this event, surpassing our previous E3 conferences.”
The first Ubisoft Forward featured trailers, release dates, and other details on many of Ubisoft’s major franchises. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watchdogs Legion, and Far Cry 6 were shown. It will be interesting to see what Ubisoft will bring to the table in September especially with next-gen consoles closing in.
