More reputable sources have stepped forward to state that a PS5 event could take place in early June. A new report from Bloomberg says that this event could happen as soon as June 3rd, which is next week. However, that date could change and the event could come in the following weeks or months. This digital event will showcase games for the PS5 but details about the console will be scattered across multiple events.
VentureBeat reporter Jeff Grubb also chimed in again with hints toward the PS5 event happening on June 3rd as well.
After June 2.

Jeff Grubb elaborates on the PS5 event, stating that Sony’s wants to emphasize games running on the real hardware. Sony wants to launch PS5 with a competitive price but not sell at a loss. A State of Play event will follow in early August. Please take all of this with a grain of salt as this is still unconfirmed information and not directly from Sony.
