The Unreal Engine 5 demo shown off during Summer Game Fest is a test for the PS5 hardware, giving players a glimpse of how software is evolving with next-gen. For those on PC, a RTX 2070 Super GPU from Nvidia would be the minimum needed to run the demo with smooth gameplay. Its an interesting equivalent to consider with PS5 and Xbox Series X coming this holiday. Nvidia is gearing up for their own releases with the RTX 3000 series powered by the new Ampere architecture arriving in late 2020 – early 2021.

Unreal Engine 5 will come to all platforms that support Unreal Engine 4 in 2021 including Switch, PS4, Xbox One, mobile devices, PS5 and Xbox Series X. In the meantime, stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news!
