Capcom has announced that their Capcom Pro Tour will head online this year. Due to the Coronavirus, Capcom had to cancel their tournaments, so this is in response to that. Capcom Pro Tour Online will end with 18 qualifiers that will go against the 2019 Capcom Pro Tour winner. They will also go against 1 player voted by the community in a pool of 31 Capcom Pro Tour 2019 entries.
Capcom joins the EVO Team as they recently announced that EVO this year will be held online. Street Fighter V has had many hiccups with its netcode, so hopefully Capcom has a solution to these concerns.
