PlayStation has finally unveiled new information about the PS5 and its pertaining to hardware this time. Introducing DualSense, the brand new USB-C wireless controller for the PS5. This controller is an evolution of the Dualshock 4, containing the same touchpad. However, the controller sports a sleek white design. The DualSense controller also features a built-in microphone array, allowing for voice chat without a headset. In addition, the Share button has been upgraded to a “Create” button, bringing new ways to share content.

In the image above, the DualSense shows off its adaptive triggers. These triggers allow for a more responsive feel in gameplay. The LEDs are more subdued which in turn, allows the DualSense to have longer battery life compared to the DualShock 4.

Along with the previously mentioned features, DualSense goes hand in hand with PS5’s Tempest 3D AudioTech. This new 3D audio technology brings a new level of immersion to players with the PS5.
