    MomoCon 2020 Cancelled Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic

    MomoCon 2020 has been canceled. The news was made official in a post on the event’s official website.

    “Over the past weeks, many academic centers, health systems and businesses have issued notices that do not allow for domestic travel and gatherings on a large scale. After much consideration in conjunction with our venue and city partners, MomoCon 2020 will be cancelled, with MomoCon returning bigger and better than ever in 2021 (May 27-30th, 2021).”

    The post also stated that they were in the issuing refunds. To those who were planning to attend and booked hotel reservations.
    The cancellation of MomoCon becomes the latest event to postponed or canceled altogether. GDC and E3 2020 canceled early last month due to the continuing spread of the virus in the United States.
