The Games Developer Conference team has revealed today that they are having a new event this summer called “GDC Summer”. This event will be shorter in length and smaller than before. The original GDC event was cancelled due to Coronavirus fears, as multiple companies started to pull out before the event happened.
GDC Summer will take place on August 4th 2020 and go to August 6th 2020. It will be held at the San Francisco Moscone Center. The same venue GDC was going to be held at. Hopefully all the companies that backed out will be able to make it this time around.
