Unfortunate news has hit today from Konami as the talented producer and creator of the Konami Code, Kazuhisa Hashimoto, has passed away. His works include the classic Gradius and Goemon, as well as ports to the NES like Track & Field. Hashimoto was one of the producers who helped pioneer some of video games’ earliest endeavors in the 80’s. Final Weapon sends their condolences to Hashimoto’s friends and family.
