    Nintendo Switch shortages likely to happen in the west after Animal Crossing: New Horizons release due to coronavirus

    Nintendo might be struggling with Switch production soon due to bottlenecks caused by the coronavirus. Around late March/early April, production of Switch consoles will be limited due to component shortages in China. Switch shipments from January and February are unaffected, but shipments in the following months are expected to slow down. Currently, the Switch is already out of stock in many retailers in Japan.
