A recent update for River City Girls on PC apparently changes up the ending of the game. The update is not available on Switch yet but it should be soon. No spoilers will be included in this article but you may check out the current ending and new ending here. Lastly, here are patch notes for the latest update:
• The input for transitioning between areas and interacting with NPCs has been updated! Hold down the attack button to perform the action.
• Books now provide the intended effects for all characters.
• Riki’s shadow combo has been adjusted to remain onscreen.
• The ending following the secret boss encounter now has altered dialogue.
• Various additional improvements and bug fixes.
