SEGA Ages for Switch brings unique features to classic SEGA games and Sonic 2 will get the same treatment! Knuckles first appeared in Sonic 2 and he will finally be playable in the base SEGA Ages version. Originally, a Sonic & Knuckles cartridge was needed for the Genesis version. By inserting the Sonic 2 cartridge into the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge, players could access the mode using Lock-On technology. Lastly, a release date for SEGA Ages Sonic the Hedgehog will arrive at a later date.
