In Weekly Famitsu, Yakuza: Like a Dragon producer Masayoshi Yokoyama has announced that SEGA will release a PS4 demo for the game! The demo will contain an enhanced version of the live command system from TGS 2019. The live command system in the demo is nearly identical to what’s found in the final product. In addition, Yokoyama confirmed the female-only job, “Office Worker,” is dedicated to Eri Kamataki’s character in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
Currently, the demo’s release date is unknown. More information about the demo will arrive at a later date. Yakuza 7 releases on January 16th, 2020 in Japan for PS4. Yakuza 7 releases in the west as Yakuza: Like a Dragon in 2020. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news!
