Famitsu sat down for an interview with Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida. In the interview, Yoshida states that the next JAPAN Studio game is in the works! Its in a playable state at this time and “something fun is being prepared.” Here’s the important excerpt from the Famitsu interview:
――If you look at the SIE titles exhibited this time, it seems that you cannot see the titles of JAPAN studios in SIE WWS, but are you preparing for the new work?
Yoshida “ ASTRO BOT ” and “ Minna no GOLF VR ” were all done. Do you guys say it ’s a break? Recently, game development is particularly time consuming. The rush of JAPAN Studio continued, so everyone would like to wait. I don’t know when it can be announced, but some of the next titles are moving to the point where they can play, so I’m preparing something very fun.
