Weekly Famitsu has revealed some brand new Yakuza 7 details! Fans of mini-games from previous Yakuza games will have a lot more to play through. In battle, Ichiban can summon characters via his smartphone. Its a nod to current gacha style mobile games. Returning characters such as Gondawara and Gary Buster Holmes make their appearance as summons. Various new mini-games and activities have been added which are new to the series.

First up is Dragon Kart. Dragon Kart is a wild kart racing activity set in Yokohama, allowing Ichiban to use weapons such as a Gatling gun and rocket launcher. Ichiban can also watch movies in Yakuza 7. Visiting a movie theater and starting a movie will begin a rhythm based mini-game against a sheep man. An PachiSlot simulator is in the game as well.
