Codemasters artist confirms PS5 devkit design patent

LetsGoDigital posted news of a PS5 development kit design patent on August 20th. It seems that the patent has been confirmed by Codemasters artist Matthew Stott. The development kit is designed by Yusuhiro Ootori, an engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment.

 

 

Development kits usually don’t resemble the final product sold to consumers. As of now, a release date for the PS5 is unknown. However, Sony stated that the next generation PlayStation hardware will arrive sometime after April 2020.
