YS NET has announced that a trial version of Shenmue III will be available for Kickstarter and Slacker Backer contributors. The trial version features a stand-alone act in the first area of the full game, Bailu Village. As of now, the trial version is targeted for the second half of September.
The trial version will come with a PDF play guide. Save data will not be transferable to the full version. YS NET states that game media outlets have been given an early look, but the trial version will be made as a good representation of what to expect in the full game.
