2K Games and Gearbox Software announced the release date of Borderlands 4 has been moved up to September 12 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A dedicated State of Play broadcast for Borderlands 4 will be held on April 30 at 2:00 p.m. PDT / 5:00 p.m. EDT.
The State of Play live stream will be held on PlayStation’s official Twitch and YouTube channels, and it will have over 20 minutes of developer-guided gameplay for Borderlands 4.
Borderlands 4 was originally planned to launch on September 23, and the Nintendo Switch 2 version is planned to release at a later date.
