There will be two separate tests in total, with the PlayStation 5 receiving an exclusive early access timeslot before all platforms gain access to the test.

The Closed Network Test will take place twice. The first wave will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 console and will be available from July 21 at 4 AM EDT to July 24 at 3 AM EDT. The second wave of tests will include PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC users. This wave starts on July 28 at 4 AM EDT and will end on July 31 at 3 AM EDT

It is important to remember that there is no guarantee of receiving a download code for this test. As always, it tends to come down to luck with these types of events. PC players will receive an access code for Steam, the platform the game will launch on at release. For more information on what exactly is available in this network test, check out our overview of the CNT here.

Tekken 8 has yet to receive a release date and is currently scheduled to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. With EVO around the corner, it does seem likely that Harada will be revealing more information regarding launch day soon.
