    Rumor: A Kingdom Hearts animated CG series is in the works for Disney+

    A rumor about a Kingdom Hearts series heading to Disney+ has been floating around the internet for months now. It seems like its more likely than ever since various reporters from reputable outlets have come forward. According to TheDisInsider editor-in-chief Skyler Shuler, in corroboration with Jeremy Conrad, a Kingdom Hearts animated CG series is in the works for Disney+. In addition, Shuler states that Square Enix has been tapped to work on the project. This means that creative directors such as Tetsuya Nomura could be a part of this project with Square Enix.

    Unreal Engine would be used to produce the show according to KH13.com, corroborated with the aforementioned sources above. Disney VOs from the Kingdom Hearts series are set to return and are currently casting. Lastly, please take this rumor with a grain of salt as this is still unconfirmed information.
