As the new Call of Duty arrives later this year, YouTuber TheGamingRevolution has leaked that the game will feature a battle royale mode featuring up to 152 players in the same map. The map will reportedly be around 3 times larger than Black Ops 4’s Blackout map.

Honestly, adding a battle royale mode to Call of Duty is a great idea.

It’s also rumoured that Infinity Ward aren’t satisfied with the 152 player count, and is hoping to push that number up until 200 players, making it the largest player count in any battle royale game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will release on October 25. The game is a reboot of the Modern Warfare subsaga.

When asked about the rumor, Joel Emslie of Infinity Ward replied with a GIF saying “no comment”, and its meaning is up to interpretation.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a reboot of the Modern Wardare subsaga. It will be the first Call of Duty game to add cross-platform multiplayer to the series. Along with the rumored battle royale mode, the gameplay will revolve around moral decisions and taking different approaches to missions. The game will release on October 25, 2019.
